Description of Standard Ramped Session
The standard 2-hour ramped LoadTest session is structured as shown in the
following diagram.
This structure assures that there are eight "step function" parts in the Test Run, with each step having a duration of 15 minutes. This layout allows enough time for all of the eValid instances to shuffle the playbacks enough so that the load imposed is very realistic.
Note that the machines involved in one step are allowed to repeat that part of the LoadTest scenario continuously until the end of the Test Run run. For example, the initial step with ~12.5% of the total BUs is set to run for the full 2-hour period.
